How to save money, acquire new knowledge, and master a new profession?

This is a question many of us ask ourselves in the pursuit of financial independence and professional growth. We created our blog to give you the keys to success in these areas. As a result, we believe that by mastering a few simple strategies, you can improve your financial skills. In addition, you will gain new knowledge that helps you build a successful career.

Claim Your C-Corporation US Tax every year

In the first part of our blog, we explain which forms you need for successful C-corporation tax filing in the USA. We cover the key details of forms such as NYC-2, NYC-2.4, and NYC-579-COR. In addition, we provide information on forms 1120, CT-3, and CT-3-M. We also include a step-by-step guide to make this process easier. This guide helps ensure your business has proper tax planning.

Federal Tax Form

Form 1120: This is Form 1120, the tax return for American corporations, including C-corporations. Use it to report income, deductions, credits, and taxes payable. Because accuracy matters here, fill it out carefully. This helps it reflect your corporation’s true financial status and tax obligations.

New York State Tax Forms

CT-3: This is Form CT-3, the tax return for corporations subject to income tax in New York State. Use it to report income, deductions, and taxes related to your business activities in the state. Therefore, review New York’s laws and tax regulations carefully before you fill out this form.

CT-3-M: This is Form CT-3-M, a short version of the New York State corporate tax return. Your corporation can use it if it meets certain criteria for a simplified tax procedure. In general, it covers basic information about income and taxes.

New York City Tax Forms

NYC-2: File this form to report and pay the New York City franchise tax. It applies to a legal entity’s entire net income, including for C-corporations. So, you likely need to file it unless your corporation qualifies for a specific exemption.

NYC-2.4: This form attaches to NYC-2. Use it to report specific deductions and credits that reduce your franchise tax liability. However, whether you need it depends on which deductions and credits apply to your corporation.

NYC-579-COR: This form covers reporting and payment of the Unincorporated Business Tax (UBT). The tax applies to the net income of unincorporated businesses operating in New York City. Since C-corporations aren’t subject to UBT, though, you generally won’t need this form.

1125-A: This form reports the tax on transferring real estate property rights located in New York State. However, it is unrelated to your C-corporation’s tax reporting unless your corporation is buying or selling real estate.
